Personal Lines Account Manager
Position Title: Account Manager (Personal Lines)
Department: Sales
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: Sales Manager
Work Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday (2 client-facing events/month)
Location: Dallas, Hybrid
Job Summary:
The Personal Lines Account Manager oversees a book of business by reviewing and assessing upcoming renewals while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance products.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addresses inquiries, concerns, and provides expert insights.
- Analyze insurance data to identify potential risk and deliver effective solutions.
- Review and assess upcoming renewals, ensuring clients have the best coverage options.
- Proactively contact clients to schedule and conduct annual review calls.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling insurance products.
- Strengthen client relationships by providing exceptional, top-tier customer service with consistent follow-through.
- Attend two client-facing events per month.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of customer service experience in Sales and Account Management within the Property & Casualty Insurance industry, preferably in an independent agency, or with a strong understanding of multiple carriers.
- Self-starter mentality driven to achieve goals and deliver measurable results.
- Meticulous and able to carefully review insurance policies and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with established processes.
- Proactive mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction by adeptly addressing client concerns, providing clear answers to questions, and offering effective solutions.
- Ability to adapt and learn new web-based software programs.
- Active Property & Casualty license
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Reader/Acrobat.
Physical Demands
- Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a headset, and printer.
- Regular use of computer systems and phone calls, requiring prolonged screen time and phone conversations.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
- Occasionally attend client-facing events outdoors.
